CARE BY MATERIAL

925 STERLING SILVER

Instructions:

  • Gently polish with a soft, lint-free cloth to keep its shine.
  •  Store in a cool, dry place, preferable in a zip-lock bag or pouch.

Tips:

  • Limit exposure to chemicals like chlorine, cosmetics, and perfumes which can accelerate tarnish.
  • It's okay to get your sterling silver wet, but always dry it thoroughly after. Avoid chlorinated water.
  • Wearing your sterling silver regularly can reduce tarnishing, as the oils in your skin help keep it clean.

GOLD VERMEIL

Instructions:

  • Gently clean with a soft cloth to maintain shine. Avoid abrasive materials that can scratch the gold surface.

Tips:

  • Keep away from chemicals, including chlorine, lotions, and perfumes. Limit exposure to water, as frequent or prolonged contact can affect the gold plating.

  • Always store your gold vermeil jewelry separately, ideally in its original box or a soft pouch, to prevent scratching and preserve its gleam. Avoid wearing it during activities that might expose it to hard knocks, rough surfaces, or excessive moisture.

GOLD PLATED STAINLESS STEEL & STAINLESS STEEL

Instructions:

  • Clean with warm water, gentle soap, and a soft cloth. For maintaining shine, especially on gold-plated pieces, a gentle polish with a soft cloth is ideal.

Tips:

  • Both these materials are water-friendly. Feel free to wear them during your usual activities, but always avoid abrasive materials.

  • Limit exposure to harsh chemicals, including chlorine, especially for gold plated items to maintain the coating's integrity. While resistant to tarnish and rust, it's beneficial to dry off the jewelry after exposure to water to ensure longevity.

  • Both types are known for their durability. However, always be mindful to protect your pieces from potential hard knocks and surfaces that might scratch them.

GOLD/SILVER PLATED BRASS

Instructions:

  • Clean with a soft cloth to remove dirt and oils. For a deeper clean, use lukewarm water and a drop of mild soap, then pat dry and buff gently with a lint-free cloth.

Tips:

  • Avoid submerging plated brass in water for extended periods as the plating may wear off over time.

  • It's best to avoid contact with chemicals, such as perfumes, lotions, and cleaning agents, as they can affect the top coating.

  • While the base material, brass, is durable, the plating can be more delicate. It's essential to handle with care to maintain the jewelry's shine and prevent premature wear.

GENERAL CARE TIPS FOR ALL JEWELRY

Separate Storage for Each Piece
Ensure the longevity of your jewelry by storing each piece individually in the provided ziplock bags or pouches. This helps prevent scratches, stone displacement, and other damages, especially during travel.

Prevent Tangles
Keep necklaces free from knots by carefully placing them inside their ziplock pouch, leaving the chain end out. This method helps avoid those pesky tangles.

Maintain Dryness and Avoid Chemicals
To keep your pieces looking their best, steer clear of moisture and refrain from exposing them to perfumes, lotions, and other chemicals.

Note: The product page specifies which pieces are water-friendly.
